We arrive at our Albergo and find it is part of a brewery ..... So we test the ale! Dinner is served in the adjoining restaurant ..... Also part of the brewery.....could/ should b a good night.....watch this ...
Carbon copy repeat of a previous experience trying to sail into Portofino - rough seas meant it was too dangerous to tender ashore, so instead we docked in Genoa.
Having explored the city on that last visit, we chose to still take a shore excursion to visit the picturesque towns of Sestri Levante & Rapallo
... vegetables, another plate with wafers smeared with soft cheese and pesto, little sandwiches and our very large toasted cheese sandwich. We must have sat there for at least an hour while Declan chased pigeons and the young people argued and smoked and looked at their phones.
When the bill came it was only 15 euros. Like I said, we liked Genoa.

After a walk around the neighbourhood & an early scratch meal we found a wonderful food market hall full of a wide range of fresh foods beautifully displayed very much like in the Victoria Markets in Melbourne. Dick went to bed & Jane researched ways to get to Oldenburg in Germany, our next stop.

Jane found a Ryanair flight from Milan to Bremen & we ...
... and not some variety of barefoot, and roasted veal. I then realized I had wandered aimlessly, and was not entirely sure of where the hotel was. About 45 minutes later I found it, and decided I deserved some gelato.
I had the night to myself, woke up in the morning to be picked up again by Alberto and drive to La Spezia, about one hour, to meet up with the boat. The hotel breakfast was even delicious, fresh croissants, fresh coffee, and nutella packets! Genius.
