      We set out from Tirano this morning to head south. The plan was to get to Genoa or Savona - but we had to tackle the Autostrada through Milan first. Sorry to say, no photo's today.       ... through beech, oak and chestnut woods made it more pleasant. We came across the Tower of Orlando, the only remains of "Old Paciano", destroyed during one of the numerous wars in the middle of the 11th century.
