... am sure at some stage we will go to a game at Subiaco stadium. The Dockers eventually won by 7 points so the mode is Fremantle later in the night was very good. We popped back to the hotel and had a great chat with Judy and Grant and then went out for very average Mexican. The food was very bland and it was seriously noisy mainly due to the table next to us. One of the guests felt he had to yell at everyone and one women's laugh ...

... It is silly what small things amuse us now. In the afternoon we took off on a long walk as a way of heating up the toes and exploring our new area. Mount Lawley is lovely with old colonial houses and lovely gardens. The local council has very strict regulations so even new builds have to built in the traditional style. ... stop was at the Moore River Bridge rest area which was full with eight other caravans present and happy hour was already in full swing at 4.15 in the afternoon. We joined in and were the first to leave happy hour at 7 pm. What a great welcoming atmosphere for the recommencement of our travels. ... The weather let it down a bit for us as it's been so rough this week, but I could definitely see the potential, and in summer I believe the whole area would be absolutely packed.

There are massive area's of grass and playgrounds, but cafe's are set quite a way back from the beach, and in a lot of cases up side streets, where the sea just isn't the main attraction, which for that area, it should be (I think!).
