... s Bath, where the surf pounds the rocks and where 29 people have drowned, mostly by being swept off the a ledge high above the surf by the occasional rogue wave. We stayed back from the edge, but more importantly kept an eye out on the incoming waves.

The drive back home to the South Shore was a frustrating ordeal of rush hour traffic in and around Kapa'a where we learned the real meaning of bad traffic. ...

... There are very few places here on the island that have air conditioning. You can only imagine how they sound early in the morning. We do get used to it but it does take a few days.

... Oh...P.S. the thing that I love here is that everyone is Auntie or Uncle. So all the kids said, "thank you Auntie", as we were taking off. I also was given my first Spam hand roll and got to experience the local island delicacy :):) It wasn't that bad!
