... the parade. With pockets filled with candy, as the parade ended we followed the crowd toward bratwurst stands and more pubs packed with people in costume. For the rest of the day, we hopped from pub to pub, making our best attempt to sing along with the popular German songs that kept playing. ... and hundreds of horses too! Everything was so colourful and the crowd was so loud and excited, it was a great atmosphere! We stayed through the entire parade - which lasted around 5 and a half hours! - and enjoyed every minute! It was a long day, and we did get rather cold, but it was entirely worth it to experience a proper German tradition!
