The old town was very relaxed with lots of seats in the square to sit in the sun. Great for the men while the women did the souvenir shops. Found some lovely linen on a market stall.

I would suggest a day trip to Bratislava to anybody planning to spend a week or more in Vienna. You need only about 6 hours to see most of the sights and get a good meal.
