After the statue was a short walk uphill to the Gothic Warwel Castle which had very similar architecture to the castles and structures seen during the earlier parts of the trip. As it was in the evening the whole area was dark and the castle surroundings gave a creepy effect to the short tour. The weather is still not great today. It's funny how quickly the weather has turned, really makes you realise just how short the European summer is. Anyway, we drove only a short distance further into the mountains. The most adventurous thing I did today was take a walk to Lidl (my favourite supermarket) for this evenings dinner! The drive north was lovely though and still very quiet, which makes a nice change.
