... united, and gave us the history of the town. The tour ended up at the famous castle and the castle gardens, and we got some beautiful photos from the castle lookouts. The castle has a second moat, which has bears in it, but unfortunately they were hiding so we didn't get to see them. Once the tour was over, we found a little shop and had hot dogs for lunch. She started the tour showing us a map of the town explaining Cesky means Bohemia and Krumlov means wandering river which describes the place beautifully. There was a town on the other side of the river called Latran which also produced beer.

... then as we came around a bend a break in the trees allowed us to see a huge wind turbine turning slowly in the breeze. I hit the button on the handlebars that activates the camera, but unfortunately when I reviewed the footage the camera was automatically adjusting the white balance for the road which was darkened by the surrounding trees, so the light streaming through the break in the trees just showed up as white on the recording, the turbine wasn't visible. Today we walked the Prague Palace grounds, St Vitus Church and it's tower. It was a lovely day for walking, although it spit rain occasionally. The palace is the largest palace still being used as a residence. (Take that, Windsor Castle!). The palace ground include St Vitus Church, an Orangery, a Sports hall and the gardens.

... 160;Dumplings would come with EVERYTHING - even dessert (dumplings in mead... er, honey sauce). It was hard to leave Krumlov (as locals call it), where in that wondrous way, we felt so far from home.  The drum had sounded.  We had to go online and figure out which bus would take us away.  We had to stuff our backpacks again and leave Krumlov House.  We had to shuffle to the station and find that bus.  We had to pick up the rhythm of travel again. ...
