On to the lighthouse next and even more steps! An underground bunker was unusual to find at a remote lighthouse on the Ost See.
Being in Germany means you can walk from one village to the next ... 1.2km walk and we are in the beautiful old fishing village of Vitt. The day is sunny and cafe restful as we overlook the fishing port surrounded by houses built hundreds of years ago.

Back to Germany
It is quite incredible how badly out the forecasts are. Again, the winds were supposed to be from the North and again, they were from the west, albeit with a touch of north. Moreover, it was grey and dull but at least the wind had eased somewhat and the seas were down to about a metre wave height, so it was doable, and we were off at 06:00 and sailing on a beat at 06:15.
