Wandering towards a solid looking timber bridge crossing the sweeping river, we dallied to watch several canoes and rafts, wind their way down the river towards a man made weir, attached to which is a short white water rafting slope. It seems the river is popular with tourists and avid water sport enthusiasts.

On our way we were able to look through some small windows down into the bears enclosure form the opposite side. We spotted a bear being fed and poking his snout out through the bars of his undercover area. It seems it was too cold for him to be out and about today.
