    ... evening.

    Under grey skies we walked into the centre. Daily Mail readers would be astounded and confused. The centre was full of magnificent buildings and wide pedestrian boulevards. Cafes and bars were everywhere; it is a very pleasant place to pause for a drink. Sadly rain came and the concert just did not happen.

    ... train woes should be over in 20 mins, we are getting a new locomotive. So the second half of the week was spent at the Schengyi baths, in Szentendre and sampling the local beverages. The baths are one of many public thermal baths in Budapest. They have pools ranging from 20 degrees to 38 degrees, and saunas ranging from 50 to 100 degrees celsius.     ... the kindness. My sister Karen actually gave me that towel when we went to Italy over her Spring Break in 2009. I gifted it to Mariah who said she would gift it to someone else. The American is super cool too. She's writing a blog and just doing a nomadic kind of lifestyle. I wish them the best. They are really awesome women.     ... duo with screaming vocals. I was into it, but the others guys weren't, so we chilled at a lounge bar for a while. I'm liking that aspect of travelling with others, as it makes it easier to go out and socialise.

    God willing, tomorrow's update will be from Brasov. If I don't make the train I'm just going to catch a train somewhere. Anywhere. That could make life interesting.
