... had our last taste of unique Prague and attended a Marionette production of Don Giovanni. Of course, a live vocal production would have been ideal, but the Marionette theatre was really fun! Great recording with Bryn Terfel, Barbara Bonny.

We began the trip with selections from Don Giovanni at the Klementinum concert and ended with Don Giovanni. Yes, we came full circle in Prague...with a few detours!

... her magic wand and booked us seats from Prague to Berlin, then overnight (in a 3 person room!) from Berlin to Paris, arriving at 9.30 am, in time to meet up with Lin to catch the train to Bayeux! What I found interesting was that she had her daughter sitting with her as she worked!

This meant we had all of 4 hours in Prague! We managed to squeeze all our luggage into the largest luggage locker and took off!

... beautiful city with its terracotta tile roofs, cobblestone streets, mosaic footpaths, magnificent architecture with pastel coloured walls. That night we wandered the local streets and saw the buildings lit up. Live music drew us to a a lovely little restaurant where we sat outside and enjoyed the mild temperature, the passing crowds, wonderful company and nice food. And thanks to the magic of ear plugs we all woke up this morning after a good nights ...
