... what kind of tree we had been parked under but the car was covered in an incredibly sticky sap. No doubt made worse from the storm.
We arrived around 12, once again noticing so many turbine windmills along the way. There have been some parts of Europe where we've been amazed at how many there are in a concentrated area.

... that was used in the Oscar winning movie The Grand Budapest Hotel, which was formerly a department store in the day and is now being renovated like so many other old buildings in this city. Spectacular!
Even though we struck out on genealogy we discovered a most beautiful intact medieval town, undamaged by the war.

... Troja Chateau and it reputed to have been started in the 13th Century and produces a wide array of white and red grapes today. It is partly for the making of wine but also as an exposition of Czech viniculture. The vines are planted on the south-facing slope overlooking the old Chateau. It was a cold afternoon, but we enjoyed our exploration of something a bit different in Prague.

Only update were I'm now.
Cut my day a bit short yesterday, because of bad weather. Stopped just short of Goerliz.
