... things, but has lost some of its charm I felt. I did feel the need for a walk after having b been in the bus for a large part of the day so I had a brisk walk up the SQUARE to the Municipal house a lovely Art Nouveau building where Betty and I had lunch a couple of days later.
Our guide here is a nice fellow who shared bits of his family life under the communist regime. He was 15 years old when they gained independence and he told ...

Section after section of the most beautiful crystal, glasses of every size and for all occasions. There was also Lladro pottery on display and it was such a pleasure to look at it. We waited for the astronomical clock to strike the hour together with a huge crowd of onlookers, two figures come out and strike the hour but ...

Saturday morning: May 17th
Why bother about alarm clocks? Simon still woke early and no paper to read!
Met Rachel to go a 'farmers market' by the river. Lots of good food stalls, drink and a few craft stalls. We had the hotel buffet breakfast but Rachel had not yet eaten so she chose a few things. We got a fresh juice, choice of about 6 which they were selling by the cup or put in a 2 litre bottle. We chose Beetroot / carrot juice combo very nice. Rachel had missed having ...
