... Ramblas took us down near the port and we walked and walked and walked until we found the beach. After some swimming and lying around we walked down the beach a little further, played a couple of pickup basketball games with an Italian and found dinner by the massive fish/whale sculpture on the beach. By now it was about 7 and our friend Andrew from Cambridge was meeting us in the Catalunya plaza around 9:30 so we started waking back. We took a different route ...

I shopped at Macy's and got some presents and a watch. We had drinks and ...

I'm talking about that ultra chic, European kiss-kiss hello on each cheek. I'm used to the American greeting. The, "Hello! How are you!" hug hug "What have you been up to?!" greeting. Hugging and talking simultaneously are perfectly acceptable. ...

... imagine your leaping into Barcelona. After that we walked through a garden to the Castle of Montjuic. The castle faces the harbor and airport in Barcelona, so the view was not as interesting as the city side. Seeing the multitude of crates on the dock does lend a little reality to the journey our products take. It explains my decision when I look at souvenirs and think, I can get this at home. Still looking for a view to take night ...
