... told the cheapest of the bungalows start at $800 a night and go all the way to $2000 a night! On the tour we saw bungalows over the water that at one time were owned by Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson. They were nice looking but we're not very big at all. They are now owned by islanders. Just like any typical island, most of the homes were kept up and looked nice, but there were some that looked awful. We stopped several times to take pictures of the scenery. Again, words don't ...

Mostly we've been relaxing at the condo and enjoying not doing a lot. Only a week till we have to get back to ...

... dolphins, turtles, stingrays – on top. When the fabric dries, the shapes are now embedded in the cloth. Interesting. Our guide, with the help of one of the female tourists, even showed how the sarong can be worn in many different ways by the right combinations of folding and tying. It looked like a late night infomercial.

We continued our ride around the island. Most homes, in the words of our guide, were ...

    Day 11

Sailed from Bora Bora to Maupiti and just as were coming up to the lagoon entrance we spotted whales breaching. Some got off the boat hoping to swim with them. A cat and mouse game happened and then we sailed into the lagoon. Moored and had yummy lunch. 4 of us went onto the island and saw the stone carvings. Then found a really unusual house that had been created with coral and shells and met a very unusual ...
