... to Prague Castle, the biggest castle complex in the world. Prague Castle is the seat of Czech power, housing the president's office and the ancient Bohemian crown jewels. The highlight of this tour was the St Vitus Cathedral, a French Gothic structure begun in 1344 by Emperor Charles IV, but not completed until 1929. We made our walk back to the Old Town over Charles Bridge built in 1357, it was the citys only bridge until 1841.

Back on the tram and over to St Nicholas Square for a walk around and then back to the hotel. We walked up to a local restaurant on the hill overlooking the city. Glorious views with the lights of Prague coming on. How lucky are we? What a great day AGAIN. This is such and interesting city and full of surprises.
