      ... wall. The 30m wall, is covered in John Lennon inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from the Beatles. It was originally painted in the 80's when the young Czechs would write about grievances which apparently led to a clash between hundreds of students and security police on the nearby Charles Bridge.       Late Addition: I almost forgot to talk about the food!! After finding it difficult to find authentic German food in Berlin, Prague was a welcome change. Street vendors serve sausages, potato dumplings with ham and cabbage, and a sweet sugary pastry called Trdlo. The coffee is strong and dark, and beer is everywhere you turn!       ... over our room (there was even a welcome gift of chocolates in our room) we went for a walk over Charles Bridge. It's a really beautiful city, very gothic style, we love it. There were lots of portrait artists, musicians and jewellery sellers along the bridge, but unlike the street hawkers in Italy, these people don't harass at all as you walk past. We wandered on into Old Town and Old Town Square. We saw the Astronomical Clock but missed out on watching it chime at 5.00. ...
