... we couldn't find any nightlife here that wasn't a symphony or opera. We checked SongKick for shows and there are hardly any touring bands here compared to their small neighbor to the South.
We walked the beautiful Charles Bridge, but even late on a Sunday night, it was jam packed with other tourists, many of whom were on the ever-present tour, following a guide with a flag or umbrella. I couldn't believe how much Prague has changed in 9 ...
... with us. The shop owners started talking to each other in Vietnamese thinking we didn't understand. If I had the guts to, I would have argued back at them in Vietnamese for being so rude to us. The important thing was that we got what we needed, so it was back to the hostel to squeeze in a few hours sleep before setting off on our next adventure.
It was so nice to be able to rest my feet for the night. Damn those cobblestones! I never want to see them again!
... knuckle, which was pretty disappointing as there were only about three mouthfuls of meat on it and the rest was fat and gristle. But the goulash with dumplings was delicious! The gravy was so rich and scrumptious, I could have eaten more of it.
