    Today we visited the UNESCO town of Telc. Pronounced Telch like belch. Un untouched 16th. century town.

    Had a limited castle tour as they are filming the movie "Emperor". Barbara auditioned for a solo and got the part!! Only problem, we can't be here for the rest of the filming.

    ... good to be out and walking.

    We arrived back in town, had lunch, and went to find the synagogue in town. The building was open, so we went in, and found a lovey sanctuary and a little museum which gave the history of the family who started the synagogue. The museum was small, but very engaging and informative. Now the building is used for concerts.

    ... us devoured such an obscene amount of these Herculean pancakes that the staff was visibly chuckling at us. I can't understand why Americans have such a worldwide reputation for being gluttons.     Cesky Krumlov is indeed a lovely village though I can't say that tourists have not found it. I can't imagine what the place would be like to wander around in during the busy summer season!
