A reasonably eRly start today as we have to have breakfast Nd be ready for our organised tour by 8.30am. Very impressive breakfast here at the Hilton I must say - it would rival some of the best we have had in Asia and they know how to put a breakfast on! I can see why people say you put on up to 5 kgs on these trips! Our tour guide managed to get caught in traffic ( her story) and we started 15 minutes late, but she ...

... I am staying in (rather cheap) rental apartments in each city. That way I can buy food for breakfasts, do laundry and have more space than the traditional European hotel.

My first destination is Prague. The flight from Vancouver left late, which meant that I didn’t make my connection in Prague. It was a nice flight with a good dinner, drinks and managed to get about 5 hours sleep before being waken for ...

The clockmaker climbed to the top of the tower and threw himself off if it, ruining the function of the clock. Nobody was able to fix the clock for the next hundred years! The rest of the tour was very interesting too. We met up with two friends from Albany who happened to be in Prague at the same time (we found out via Instagram) for dinner. Small world! We ...

... other areas of the city. I guess because if all the apartments you can get on the Metro and get across town in about 30 minutes, and we are talking a city of 10 million.
Friday June 20Garry went on a hike up about 300 steps to a walkway and then a tram ride to see another area. I decided to take the tram a few stops into our area and just walk around and check out some shops.

... the airport and be to my gate in 30 minutes. I was a bit worried at first when I saw huge lines at several check in lines on the other side of security. Thankfully security was a breeze and my ticket counter didn’t have a line. I was able to get my pass printed and head right to my gate with ten minutes to spare. This was the first flight I had taken that wasn’t actually full. I was so thankful for the added room and was able to sleep for the entire flight to Prague. ...
