Today was very exciting, we set off early in the car to travel over the border into the Czech Republic. we collected two friends of Elfi and Gottfried inLinz, and it took about 2 hours to drive. The border was very disappointing! No guards, no passport control!
The countryside was lovely, lots of forests and alongside the Moldau river, which is a centre for lots of water sports.

... our room at the Castle Apartments was literally across the street from the castle entrance, and had lovely bay windows and a little balcony. No view of the castle, but a nice view of some of the rooftops in the other direction.

Today we wandered around the Jewish quarter of Praha for a while, taking a bit more time to soak up what we saw the day before on our first day tour with Harriet. Steve then parted ways with Mandy and headed off to find the Military Museum, looking for a pink tank.
