... right on University Square. There we enjoyed a lighthearted modern-looking water sculpture called “The Fountain of Joy” dating back to the communist era.

We really enjoyed Rostock, and weren’t eager to leave.

But it was beginning to rain again, and we needed to get back to the dock in Warnemünde. Our return trip was easy, now that we knew the routine.

... and drink. Eventually took off and after a 2hr flight landed at Heathrow in London. Pretty weary by this stage but still a little way to go before we can put our feet up. About an hour and a half to get through immigration but the fellow who served us had a sense of humour, which was refreshing. Left Mulackstrasse at 9ish for a train trip, firstly to Berlin Hauptbahnhoffe, then on a regional train to Rostok then Warnemunde. We arrived, finally, at around 1pm. We eventually found our way to the Royal Princess after foregoing a wander into the town. Embarkation was easy and we made our way to our Stateroom - they used to call them cabins once, but I guess that didn't sound too flash! ... enough once we made it to a window it looked ok outside, a little cloudy but not bad at all so we headed out to explore the city.
