... historical period dictates the architecture and decorations of the church. The front of this church was mosaic with gold leaf tiles built in the Greek Orthodox style. When the church was converted to Christianity the rest of the building was finished in a more traditional stye with statues and stained glass. Beautiful. Walking down Via Veneto, we could see all the beautiful cafes, restaurants, hotels and pretty Christmas lights. Joanna and I also took our new friends to try some great Zuppa Inglese flavoured gelato on Piazza Barberini. I tried the mandarin flavour this time, which tasted exactly like…mandarin!

  • Casually sipped wine during an amazing wine tasting held in the campus vineyard.
  • Not complained about the cafeteria (mensa) food, because it is delicious.
  • Happily eaten three portions of squid when my friends were too weirded to eat the pasta al mare from the mensa.
  • Become really good friends with Nino and Nunci, the cuochi of the mensa. ...
