A couple of performers really stood out for us: a Chinese concert pianist who was discovered when he was a child prodigy by American violinist, Isaac Stern in the early 80s. He now lives in NY and after hearing him perform we can certainly understand why he is invited back to Carnegie Hall every year. But once I trusted the laws of buoyancy & relaxed a little bit - I felt like I was living in a National Geographic documentary.

... or Kuala Lumpur. Penang is the closest and there are many companies who offer "visa run" services. Basically you pay a set price and they handle everything. Sounds pretty simple; they pick you up in a “luxury van” and drive overnight to Penang, they complete the application, take you to the consulate where you leave your passport and app, then drive to a hotel where you'll stay overnight and in ...
