    We used to come to Langebaan in the early 80's when I was in the Air Force. If you blinked you missed the town. There used to be a boat on the lagoon called the Big Bunny... I think. Friday night parties on the Big Bunny was hectic. 30 Air Force guys and 3 waitresses... Langebaan is a completely different town now.     ... the guys were pretty kind, they reminded me that the water here on the western cape is the South Atlantic Ocean meaning that 10 minutes in the freezing cold water and my hangover would be gone. From there we drive to Saldanha and then Langebaan and lastly trough the West Coast National Park with wonderful bird hides and wild flowers ...

    From here we find our way to Veldrift situated on a lake area and then on to the Stywe Lyne Caravan Park – this park is fenced in but on the sea. The wind is blowing and it is rather cold tonight. The sun set is unbelievable...it is time for food and bed....I am still enjoying this trip to the fullest! ...
