    We used to come to Langebaan in the early 80's when I was in the Air Force. If you blinked you missed the town. There used to be a boat on the lagoon called the Big Bunny... I think. Friday night parties on the Big Bunny was hectic. 30 Air Force guys and 3 waitresses... Langebaan is a completely different town now. It reminds me a bit of what happened to Hermanus.... lost its flair through over ...

    ... better. Turns out, this is also a great way to make friends, and I ended up joining one of the guys for pool and the night went from there. The night is a bit of a blur, I felt like I met \ drank half of the bar, but was eventually reminded by Siebert about our diving expedition that was planned for the next morning. Knowing full well the terrible hangover I was going to get the next day, we walked home and crashed on the bed.

    ... camping space, many picnic spots and walking trails. After a few hours there we are hungry and decide to eat in Paternoster – a real Sunday afternoon treat at a little red shack on the beach. From there we drive to Saldanha and then Langebaan and lastly trough the West Coast National Park with wonderful bird hides and wild flowers ...

    From here we find our way to Veldrift situated on a lake area and then on to the Stywe Lyne Caravan Park – this park is fenced in but on the sea. The wind is blowing and it is rather cold tonight. The sun set is is time for food and bed....I am still enjoying this trip to the fullest! ...

    After a wonderful night's sleep we were up for breakfast at around 0800 and it was well worth the effort. The staff were super helpful with regard to my dietary restrictions, the view was spectacular and the food even better.
