Greetings from Nassau

Running shoes on, I head out around 7:15 a.m. for a run on the ship. The track is located on the 4th floor and I want to get a head start before the heat ruins me. I am not a fan of such crazy, humid heat for my runs.

I do 4 miles (10 laps) and as I am finishing the end of my last few laps, I get to watch as we pull into Nassau. I like the track as it provides some moments of shade and coolness. It's ...

Day 167: Nassau, Bahamas

Erin was going to do The Abyss which is like the Leap of ...

... It was a wonderful few minutes of pure magic. This was Disney at its absolute best.

But it was soon all over and we were back to the real world with a considerable thump. When we got back to our room a letter and four envelopes were on the bed. The letter said they were delighted we had chosen to cruise with Disney, and they had added $168 to my bill as a thank you gift.

This money was for the compulsory gratuity to go to the ...

"What happens in Nassau..."

... up my **** completely. And so we turned up at the party... It was being held in Lyford Cay Hotel Clubhouse, an exclusive and very expensive area in Nassau. The party was being held outside overlooking the beach and the best way to explain what happened next is to refer to a scene in one of the Bridget Jones films. You know the bit where Bridget doesn't get the memo that the garden party she is attending is no longer doing the sluts and vicars theme and yet she turns up ...
