First up to correct an error in a previous blog.......our new drivers name was Bert not Bertram as the stupid auto correct did and I stupidly didn't check before publishing. We were on the lock bridge discussing how we needed to find the info centre so we could find the Castle and other features of the town when we turned around and it nearly hit us in the face. Heidelberg is famous for a number of reasons; the longest pedestrian area, which ...

We woke up after only a few hours of sleep, but made it back to sleep and woke up fairly late (for us anyway), and had a leisurely breakfast here in the hotel. We ...

... why, but yes of course I had to have a piece of cake when we made our stop at the cuckoo clock place. The cuckoo rest stop has been featured on getaway, they have this massive cuckoo clock that does a song and dance on the hour, a little impressive.
Our destination today was Heidelberg, a very nice typical German town on the Neckar River. Beautiful houses all along the river bank, not too much history ...
