Island Hopping - First stop Skiathos

... die je loopt als je je boot met je eigen anker achterste voren hebt ingeparkeerd. De boten die weg varen kunnen je anker mee nemen als zij hun eigen anker ophalen. We hebben dat in Lesbos al een keer mee gemaakt. Naast ons liggen twee grote schepen die later zijn gekomen en ook meer ankerketting hebben uitstaan, dus zo groot is het risico ook weer niet. My heart is still there
... of gold are in the sand. The best one and most known is Koukounaries Beach which means 'Stone Pines'. At Koukounaries there is a lagoon and a wooded peninsula with a Stone Pine
(Pinus pinea) forest separating the lagoon from the Aegean Sea.
It is said that Princess Diana used to go to Skiathos for holidays. I'm not surpirsed to be honest.

Exploring Skaithos
... of tomatoes, which I love but Dave hates…I think it will be very different at the conference, they always try to impress. The olives are fantastic and the wine from Thessaloniki area is very good…there is a wine cheese reception that we are looking forward to at the conference. More later…love to all.
Did I mention how delicious the olives are?...mmmm, so good!
