    We arrived in Mostar, Bosnia after a three and a half hour bus ride from Dubrovnik, Croatia.

He mentioned that half of his high school graduating class was killed in the war, and explained how he was shot in the leg by a sniper when he was getting water from the river during the nine months that electricity, food, and water were cut off to Mostar.     ... and I was disappointed with his lack of respect for the couch surfing values. I think he still has a lot to learn about hosting, but I'm sure he will get there'.     After Medjegore we headed off to Mostar. The way Mostar is today is a product of the war. Mostar use to be one of the most ethnically diverse cities however in present day it is very ethnically divided. During the war Mostar was one of the most bombed cities.
