... I had seen by far at this point. I would probably advice going early in the day and taking a water tour of it to really see the wood carvings at a closer view. ... in Bangkok. You can find a fan-only room in a decent mini-hotel for 350B a night. Make sure you get a room which has some sort of natural ventilation (a window opening into the street or a balcony). Definitely get a place which has a safety deposit box, as Pattaya hotels are apparently infamous for nicking stuff from your room. If you want food cheap-cheap, then the street stalls are your best bet for fresh, tasty and filling Thai food. Ask for prices beforehand!
