So, another dog done, we headed back the way we came (taking copious notes of the route) to Omaruru to get some lunch. Very well deserved I tell you. We also needed supplies for our overnight stay as we planned a braai when we reached Tsaobis Nature Camp. It would be nice relaxing evening with a few cold beers, we thought.

The next two dogs were on neighbouring farms near Karibib so that shouldn’t be difficult. These were Kiri’s six month old puppies ...

... up on the cheetah. He was anaesthetised and weighed, measured, tagged and samples of hair, sperm and blood were taken. Turns out he's younger than we thought, probably about 16 months, and has been moved to a quarantine enclosure to recover from his adventure.

Sad news of the week is that Shades took a turn for the worse. The x-ray results confirmed bronchitis so we kept him in the clinic overnights as it's pretty damn cold and put him on medication. He was also struggling ...
