Today we had a scheduled shore excursion to the Stone Castle where they make cameos! It was very interesting and they had such beautiful jewelry. We learned how they made most of their pieces out of conk shells. We watched a young woman in the process of creating a cameo and discovered she was unable to speak when we asked a question. When I asked her if I could take ...

... we? There have been a few changes in the last month, I moved into a little duplex to take care of it while a sister visits family in the US, so I've upgraded from a closet to a fully stocked up place with tv, internet and a road right in front where I looove to go running! It is 8K from my door to the cruiseship docks and back and my goal is to run it 3 times a week! So far its just one. Ohh yeah, did I mention the house comes fully furnished AND with a huge strong stinky ...

There was a big wall of coral reefs that stretched for a good length, and we went into these tiny valleys of corals. The visibility was fantastic! ... I got to the gate like 2 hours early, and the United Airlines lady let me just get on the flight that was about to take off. Woo! I had a 1-hour layover in Houston. The airport was huge! I got on a train that moves between the terminals. The side I was sitting on was in Spanish, and I clearly didn't pay atteniton in my high school Spanish classes because I found myself going the opposite direction. Anyway, the crowd for the Roatan flight was buzzing with ...

... and bought a couple of drinks so we could use the lounges. We had a choice afternoon lounging in the sun and going for swims.

The following morning we were up early and making the long mission to Copan Ruinas. This involved a ferry and two buses so a long days travel. We were glad we made the effort to get out to the islands. Had a wicked time and experienced some once in a lifetime things. Cheers Roatan...now off to see some more ruins.
