Excellent place to stay in KL

I love this place. I feel like I am staying at my house. Staffs are polite, caring, informative and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good for the room rate per night. Also, it's located in Bukit Bintang, a central part or downtown area in KL. Easy to go everywhere....just a few minutes to a train station; Monorail. In the evening you can find street food near by. Many things to look around,... enjoy shopping and trying food. I don't have anything to complain at this guesthouse.

Defo worth a stay at the nest, away the hustle of Chinatown. Nice and chilled like I nest would be I suppose. Squawk!

          Sanctuary in the city

As previous reviewers have commented the area where The Nest is, doesn't look the best. However it is in a perfect location if you can forgive the immediate area.
If you turn right you reach the main road where you can catch the free city bus. There's also a large shopping mall with a food court and cinema just a few minutes' walk away. The monorail station is very close too. If you turn left you will reach the food hawker's market.
The hotel itself is a peaceful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city. You take your shoes off when you arrive and it sets the tone for the rest of your stay.
We booked a superior double en-suite for 114 MYR a night (134 at the weekend) as we wanted a bit of space for our backpacks. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The air con was perfect. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but the shower was warm and powerful enough. Because of the size of the bathroom the toilet seat was always wet from the shower, but nothing major.
Breakfast was self service and consisted of cereal, toast, jam, bananas, tea and coffee. Juice would have been nice as my husband doesn't drink tea or coffee.
We would highly recommend The Nest, we felt that we got a great room for a good price in KL.

Small, great value guesthouse very close to the Bukit Buntang area (literally 3 mins walk). Safe, clean, fast free wi-fi, free breakfast, tour bookings, great staff and lovely air con. Well recommended.

rickie has planned a new years eve in style. We are going to head into town, do lunch have massages , cocktails on roof top bar over looking KL then back here for wine and nibblies before watching fireworks from either the unit or the 7th floor with the bottle of French Champagne that. Ronny bought. However that plan was changed when we hopped into the lift and their is a notice about a party on the top of the hotel roof so we have added our ...
