    Wow we had an awesome day today! We had a very early 3.15am start when the fire alarm went off at the hotel. Up out of bed, collected up passports and wallets and started to head out when the alarm got turned off. A few others in the hallway but we all returned to our rooms.     We awoke the next day to sleety rain and cold temperatures for our adventure of driving the Ring of Kerry which was to be befitting for this cold and windy place. This is one of the big ticket items on any travellers plans when visiting Ireland and we were keen to join the crowds on the loop.     ... It's amazing how trustful the Irish are of the general public. There were no velvet ropes or walking trails through the house. We just went room to room, walking on the carpet and touching the furniture.
