    ... 35 years.

    True to form he turned up at 12.15pm with the excuse "Sorry Im late lads but Clive kept me. He was talking **** about monitors and the worlds economy". (Clive makes out that he is Gilly's boss).

    Just prior to this I nearly didn't get off my driveway due to almost dropping my bike on the sloping drive. Somehow my right leg managed to push 600lbs ...

    ... craft use the canal and the river. We spent one very pleasant evening having dinner with Kathleen and Paul. Margaret and Kathleen have known each other since primary school, and earlier according to their parents!

    We left early (8.30) to drive to the beach before the crowds - successful ploy as the roads were reasonably free and the beach empty when we arrived. Natalie & Andy have a favourite beach - Anderby Creek which has no development and is uncrowded even on a Bank Holiday.
