This trip really began back in February when I won some money in a competition on Dickinsons Real Deal on the television. There was enough money left over, after we had booked to meet our great grandson in South Korea, to book a cruise. We decided on the Caribbean again as we had enjoyed it so much the last time. We will be visiting some different islands this time. We thought it would be ...

... house. Then set off for Lincoln. Visited Beth and Barry, old University friends from Kings, who we last saw in February, while awaiting the arrival of the Boomer. With 24 hours to go, we are packed, on-line check in done, tickets and boarding pass printed out and camera charged. Tomorrow the adventure starts with a car journey to Heathrow courtesy of Mummy Scorror (Cheers!) then a flight to Dubai and on to Bangkok. Arriving in the evening on Friday with our in country guide Grandpa John. We shall see what excitement he has planned on our ...

Sunday dawned bright and crisp, and we had a leisurely morning enjoying our breakfast in the sunshine before packing up at lunchtime to visit the Old city of Lincoln. A beautiful old city dating back to Roman ...

Now it was time to head for the Lincoln Motorhome Show for a few days. We had not been here before, but it was similar to the one at Peterborough. We spent Friday wandering around the stalls and picking up a few bits and pieces that we wanted for Juliette now that we were getting to grips with the differences to our old van. In the evening we went in to the marquee to listen to Darren Busby and even did a couple of dances, then over to the Epic ...
