... because we haven't done many side trips in Jamaica, but they cost so much. To leave the hotel costs you $100 minimum in a taxi, even if it's 15 minutes down the road, then you add on the tour price and tips and it comes very costly. We got there at 11am and there was a massive catamaran anchored next to it and heaps of college students in their swimmers and bikinis partying in the pub and the ocean. Her apartment which was flooding as the night wore on. Ouch. This was not looking good. She'd used up all of her towels, wrung them out, threw them in the washer on spin cycle and re-used them and they were all soaked again. Not ...

... wares so obviously this beach is controlled by either cops or tourist bureau. No beggers!!

Had a couple of fruity beverages and then Red Stripe. Also grabbed lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Each order something different and share - get lots of flavour - taking advantage of jerk meals. We are both figuring Jerk = Salt - holy salty foods.

Had an excellent beach day and did pretty much the same thing the following day. I stayed in the shade a bit ...
