    ... to colonial times. It has a lot of more British-style buildings and is punctuated heavily by flowers - bright beds of them on every street corner and adorning many of the buildings.     ... with french fries. They were great. We also got a piece of fish with another restaurant. They were nice enough to include some french fries even though I did not order them.

    Oh yes, while we were at the Wharf, there were some seals swimming around the docks. They were looking for fish. Anwyas, one couple bought 6 fish for $5 and fed the seals (you could buy 1 fish for $1 or 6 fish for $5). It was fun watching the couple feed the seals - the seals ...

    ... of fun new activities. We cooked a turkey for Christmas day, sang Christmas songs and enjoyed our very first white christmas.

    - Victoria has christmas parades, Christmas markets with free apple cider, The Empress Hotel is full of christmas trees and gingerbread houses also.

    - Victoria is known as the warmest place in Canada and i was told that it doesn't snow there. However, it snowed 3 times in December- January 2013-2014.
