    Day 15 - Zip Lining

A travel blog entry by katiejgoodwin on May 22, 2015

Today got up and had a full English breakfast then tried to find "Just For Fun" which is a zip lining/bridge walking through high trees thing. We drove for AGES and couldn't find it (again sign posting here is soooo bad it's so frustrating) and on the way I stopped at several ATM's and none would let me get money out saying please contact bank - GREAT. Anyway driving round and round and round then we see 2 little dogs look fluffy and that usually ...

... then had breakfast at the hotel buffet, before Dad and I went to the airport to do some plane spotting. The airport was not as busy when we went there as what it was in the morning, however we did see quite a few Airbus A320's and Turboprops take off and land from a very short distance away. We did so for an hour and half, and with little activity at the airport ...

At the end of the day we enjoyed the pool from our beachfront hotel and one by the beautiful sun, to the moon up in the sky. Yes, it ...

Ko Samui has been great. Our hotel made it worth the stay as we have had a great time relaxing round the pool and swimming in the gulf of Thailand. Yesterday was a good day. Scott and I headed out on our bike to a local water sports centre along Nikki beach where he had a go on the new Fly Board whilst I floated along side on a jet ski. He had around 30 minutes on the ...

... guitar, so I asked if he had one. The guy did have a small classical guitar which he gave me to play after tuning the instrument. I have no idea what key the dude tuned the guitar to but it was completely wrong, so I re-tuned and the guitar played well. The price was just under 2,000 Baht (about AUD$ 70) which was pretty good, so we had a deal. I asked the guy to hold on to the guitar so that I could return in the taxi and stop to pick up thus not having to carry guitar ...
