It's 3am, one of a number of early starts this trip. Although we went to bed early, sleep evaded us and we managed little more than a couple of hours fitful dozing before awakening. We were up and moving before the alarm summoned us.

Then we were off on what has always seemed like an extension to last years travels rather than a holiday in its own right.

Eventually we set off again and the train Manager is very apologetic about the "dreadful fiasco". we have all had to undertake and apologises profusely for the fact that it is a smaller train and not everyone will have a seat!

Well we have made it up to Heathrow airport. Can't say it was the easiest of journeys due to the motorway at staines being closed. To top it off our bus driver's were a couple of planks who told outrageous lies about having to stop at Reading because we were too early to enter heathrow, when in fact they wanted to do was have a smoke. *******S.
