We've had an amazing day! After a hot English brekky we headed into York city and found the old wall. This wall used to surround the city to stop invaders. We walked for a couple of miles, and ended up outside Yorkminster Cathederal. We were hoping to hear the boys choir singing but it wasn't going to happen til late afternoon. Then we decided to try to find the Viking village. It is full of authentic relics. Mark and I were fascinated and we were taken on ...

... SOAKED. It was great there were 3 drops, two small ones, 1 big, and as there was more weight in the front, water came rushing over the top at the bottom of the drop. However as we were pulling back in to the exit, some kids with water guns soaked us from the bank.

I may have threatened them in the excitement/surprise.

When we got out, we had 2 minutes left of park time, so we pegged it back to front entrance and went ...

... London Tower where we debarked and walked around the area a bit. Then back to Heathrow to pack up for our 7pm departure to J-burg.
