Arrived in Eger today - a small town of ONLY 60,000 people. I should also mention that it was a balmy 38 degrees here - goodbye Melbourne winter, hello ridiculous tan line. Spent the day having a wander around the town (having pre and post lunch ice cream) before heading off to the Valley of Beautiful Women for wine tasting. The Basilica and The Library

Carved and gilded oak provides a warm atmosphere where to sit and read (although the books are so old here they can only be handled by gloved hands).
