    ... breakfast was consumed, we inhabited two beach chairs in front of the Crystal Restaurant and spent a couple of hours in the sun, swimming and reading, and then swimming and reading... you get the idea. Once we completed another cycle of... swimming and reading... we packed up and headed home for a relaxing late afternoon/evening at home watching a movie, then some rugby and then we crashed out quite early as tomorrow will be another taxing day.

    ... back to our original hostel the next morning after visiting the market. The market was full of fresh fruit and seafood stalls and there were locals everywhere, it had a really great atmosphere. I do love the beaches but most of all I enjoy seeing the real Thai culture that you don't get in all the really touristy areas.     So we were meant to go dam building today and we were all set for it, it was a nice day too so bonus day topping up the tan. Unfortunately there had been storms on the mountain over night and it was still raining there so we were unable to go as it was too dangerous but instead we got another day at the school so I definitely wasn't going to start complaining.     Sorry this is going to be a long entry.......So my departure from Dubai wasn't as smooth as I had planned. I had pre-purchased a metro ticket to the airport knowing it starts at 6am, perfect. Wrong. In Dubai the weekend starts on a Friday, which meant no metro until 1pm, so it wasn't like I could even try and cut it fine (which being me I would have risked!)     ... where it's supposed to be all 'happening' however having arrived at the beginning of the low season it was far from crowded. The beach itself is as you imagine, coconut laden palm trees, white sand, clear seas and warm water..... Slightly too warm if your hoping for a cool down.... Poor us...!
