As the sun started to go down, we went to grab a bit to eat. The beach had an interesting horizontally-growing palm tree jutting out over the water (which we later discovered is pictured on almost every Koh Samui postcard), so I climbed up onto it for a tropical island paradise photo op. It wasn’t very high off the sand but getting up there was more of a struggle than one might imagine; Candace took plenty of photos that make it look like I am wresting the palm ...

... Fox Movies which would be important for Christmas morning!! We meet up with one of the girls from the tour for lunch, Erin who is from L.A. I headed up to the Phi Phi view point with Erin to catch the sunset. My god that was some walk and should not have been done in a long sleeved top that is not kind when it comes to hiding perspiration!!! The view was worth the walk though. Marian and I decided to take it easy that night as we had to be up at 6am for ...
