    ... and the Water Village---a village of over 30,000 houses on concrete stilts in the river. Dropped in on the Canadian High Commission to say hello. As indicated, Brunei is a very Muslim country and alcohol is illegal although some Chinese restauranteurs supposedly serve a "special teapot".----which I never managed to locate.

    ... that would cost at least $10. To anyone coming to BSB I would strongly suggest only staying here one night and definitely do the day trip to Ulu Temburong. It is a boring town, not because there is no alcohol but because there is just nothing open and very little to see. We catch he bus to the airport, once again this is $1 , a bargain.     ... work for me, but he may or may not come by around 7 pm that evening and he might not be able to do anything so it was better to just not count on it. Apparently on Fridays its very common for everyone to leave work around noon.
