... we had reserved, #17 & #18, did not exist on this train - or at least, in this car. We had reservations for seats that did not exist. So we stood for the 2-3 hour trip.

It was surprisingly okay. While standing in the aisle, James and I met a young Australian couple and they were held captive in the aisle with us. So we engaged them and we all yakked the whole time. 'twas an excellent discussion.

... because not one, but BOTH your faithful professors failed to double-check the address (ahem). ... incredible--this period library houses over 200,000 volumes, of which 3,000 are original manuscripts. Upon our arrival from Vienna, using the services provided by student agency bus lines, who, after using them three times now, (To Krakow aswell) we can easily say the service they provide is nothing short of fantastic!
