Constitution Hill was originally a fort and then a prison. When the court justices were looking for a permanent location, it was decided that the past should be preserved and the court was established on the hill. Four stairwells of the long prison block remain on site - a reminder of the past.

Having worked in South Africa last year gave me a good basis of knowing where to go and what to see. With meetings planned in the South African plant the Easter break provided me with an opportunity to come back to Pretoria and enjoy some new experiences and enjoy again some other places.

... in Cape Town- a little too commercialised and full of boat companies that are a pace after on some stretches, gbut has a very good atmosphere to it. We also managed to make it to Long Street in the day- certainly more lively than a rainy sunday afternoon.

Lindas sister Lorraine then picked me up and took me to Irene Mall for dinner at the Ocean Basket. Plenty people out and about. Shops are open to 9 every night apparently. There are some nteresting statues in the mall including an upturned cow with feet in the air! Dinner was heaven. Mmmmm grilled garlic prawns in shells and calamari served in a fry pan – absolutely delicious!!! ...
