        ... into Koke'e Park to hike the Nualolo Trail. The trail is a hike in and back for a total of 7.6 miles. The way in was fairly easy, as most of the trail was downhill. The trail begins at an elevation of 3660 ft and goes to a low of 2234ft. That means on the way back, I had to climb back up the 1400 ft or so.

        ... stopped the boat for us to enjoy the sunset. They served champagne and took pictures of another beautiful Hawaiian sunset.

        One we reached the harbor, I noticed that my face, arm, and legs were coated with sea salt. It was a very good day on the water. It brought back memories of the time we spent on our boat on area lakes. We loved every minute of it.

        ... half a mile away, neither of us knew how far that was, but off we set on foot, with no designated footpath & cars going the wrong way. Well what a waste of time, market started at twelve and here it was nearly one and they were packing up. Very small & very limited.         The tropical storm "Wali", pronounced Willie, started about 2:00 am this morning. Lots of rain! Continued throughout the night and into the morning. "Wali" did not stop me from getting my run in. Down to a mist by the time I ran. Since it was really cloudy & rainy we decided to do some shopping. We went to Deja Vu surf shop.
