Oh well, the "Hula Pie" is still on the menu so we all shared one for ...

... wanted to do the full 22 mile round trip trek, but for now this Hanakapi'ai section did perfectly. It was absolutely gorgeous to say the very least! I will be back for you Kalalau Trail...we will meet again!!

Another wonderful friend I've made is Russell. He works with Antonio, one of the other guys I met while on vacation here two years ago. Russell has two paddle boards, so he and I took off and went stand up paddle boarding four miles up the Wailua River. It ...

... well, only on the outskirts. Who wants to spend $25 and not be able to enter the lighthouse?!! Especially since that would dip into the smoothie fund! We stopped at the bakery and bought some goodies for later, had the final hurricane hot dogs for lunch, and got our travel plans in order. We decided to try a beach that we had not been too this year, but had in the past, so we chose Larsen's ...
