    ... heard about at his age (or even until we started this current journey). We all went to the Cuba Street Night Market tonight and interestingly enough all chose foods that reminded us of places we have been on this trip. Caleb - a Turkish type pizza (as we would no allow him to get a regular pizza) Bob - Vietnamese food Christine - was over the moon with her food...Mint Tea which recalled our mornings in Morrocco & Goat Stew.     ... most passengers onboard the bus, and we just had to cross our fingers and be grateful that this driver could actually drive. Given there were 20 or so people on the bus the ferry check in stayed open for our very late arrival (1pm) and we made it aboard the boat. Needless to say we wouldn't recommend Naked Bus, the buses are old, no commentary from the drivers and a bit of a shambles compared to the sleek competitor Inter City, the price doesn't vary much between the two do ...

    ... They had fish ladders, counting mechanisms and cages in various places. We had lunch at an excellent bakery in Turangi, and then went to the prawn farm, but arrived too late to go in with any reasonable time to use. We then went back to Taupo, shopped at Countdown for dinner( lamb and kumara in a plum sauce casserole) and also got a bbq pack for the next nights we are near a bbq.     ... another Mexican place called 'Mexico'. We all enjoyed jugs of margaritas and shared quesadillas before the waiter brought out the cookies and cream cheesecake we'd bought for Scar. We sang 'Happy Birthday' before nailing the whole cheesecake in Olympic time. We were the last people in the restaurant and were getting the impression they wanted us gone so we headed back for our final sleep in a lovely bed. HAPPY BDAY SCAR!! ...

    ... all along the harbour with people having a drink after work and the younger generation starting their night out. We stopped for a drink at one of the pubs by the museum and sat in the sun watching the world go by, very relaxing.
    We finished the evening by going to the Soundings Theatre in the Museum to see Rotunda. This is performed by the New Zealand Dance Company in conjunction ...
