      ... the effort from what we have heard. I forgot to mention that we lost a wheel off one of the suitcases so I had to carry one suitcase, pull one and wear a backpack, I felt like a pack mule.

      I read in the newspaper today that the UK is settling in for some hurricane and wet weather, I have to admit we felt slightly smug when boarding the plane today if not a little sorry for poor old blighty.

      ... with many more steps and finally some large boulders before reaching the top. There was the church which was quite small. There were beautiful views from the terrace surrounding the church. I then started my descent back to Dennis' bench meeting many cats and kittens on the way.

      ... and old men playing balalaika' s and singing - when they started to play the Zorba kind of music ( ie getting faster and faster) Christiana got up and danced beautifully on her own- the tourists loved it and were snapping away.       13 Aug. This morning we docked at 7.45am in Volos on mainland Greece, temp now 25C rising to 35C by noon. After breakfast we boarded our coach at 9am for our tour of 2 greek villages. Our lady guide, Basila was very informative but a bit too much on Greek mythology ...
