    The weather was still dreary on Sunday when we arrived in Okinawa, the southernmost Japanese island.

    Sightseeing was minimal. We were driven through the port city of Naha to Shuri Castle, which served various types of royalty until Okinawa became a Japanese prefecture in 1879.

    ... it was time to head back to the room and get ready for dinner as tonight is formal night. We had a couple of photos taken before heading off to dinner in the dining room. After dinner we went to trivia and lost again. We then went to the show, the onboard singers and dancers doing a show called music in pictures.     ... Lots of shops and quite reasonably priced. It seemed like the street went on forever and took a few hours to walk the length of it. They had a street parade which started at 12 pm, with Japanese dancers, firecrackers and pole jugglers. The city centre was very crowded now and was starting to get extremely hot, so we decided to walk back to the ship.
