The last............. weekend :"(
... 10pm to go to Bagley, a black club. Awesome music and atomosphere, had a good last nighjt in the sleepy town of Oudtshoorn night and left around 1.30am.
Day 2 - Got up at 7am feeling a little delicate but was ready and packed and at the ranch for 9am. We then spent the next few hours going around the ranch for the last time saying goodbye to staff and animals and taking photos. Was sad :( The last stop was made to the Caracal cubbies....gonna miss ...
Farewell Braii
... cleaned. The water stank and the fish were hard *******s but it was fun and i think every labourer was there to help :) After lunch we spent most of the afternoon socialising before a early finish to feed the tigers....my fav job so far :) Chilled night to follow.
Friday - Our last day working on the ranch and i cant even begin to tell you how sad i am. First off we went hunting again with Eugene, I have to experience it. So we headed to a farm ...
Meerkat Time
... I ask for an iron and get a person to iron the shirt for dinner! It's a nice dinner but I'm really too much into self-catering control by now.
So a 4.15 alarm for the meerkat trip - we go out into the scrub and sit on camp seats as the sun rises & are told they usually come out - well they did - see the pictures. Apparently there are a record 8 babies.

Monday again....Yay!!!
... Afternoon came and We ended the day with some enrichment with firstly the Meerkats and the bat eared foxes. We used meal worms, placed some in a ball and berried some in the soil for them to dig out. They seemed to love them so i decided to give them a taste and i must say they were ok.....quite crunchy but nice :) We got some news that tomorrow we are going hunting with Eugene which should be ...... interesting!!

We visited the Cango Caves. I did not think the cave compared well to caves in Australia. I think the best think about the cave was that it had an adventure route where one goes a lot deeper and has to overcome many tight situations. Unfortunately the Gecko leader did not ...
