... views are stunning, with the beach, bush and mountains and a group of novice surfers were taking advantage of the small but perfect waves in the bay. We returned via the boardwalk at the top, along with all the other walkers and joggers in Byron Bay.

We were lucky that there was a cafe right next door to the caravan park and decided to have a nice lunch there. The view was incredible and they offered two courses and a glass of wine for $30. Cadence scoffed ...

The two of us bought some ice-creams to eat in front of our new favourite TV program 'Scandal' in our air-conditioned room. We had a very relaxing evening - facetiming Mim, Connor, Jack and naturally our mothers. We rated Byron Bay and we loved our fix! ...

... below. Afterwards we drove down to Watego beach for a swim to cool off. The beaches South of the Byron Bay headland are truly stunning. I didn't think I would ever hear Mel say that there are beaches to rival WA, but it has happened. The Broken Head beach next to our camping spot is beautiful and almost deserted. Today we swam in the ocean before breakfast, lunch and dinner! We are very reluctant to ...
