      ... there and it was most embarrassing. We continued walking up to Central Park. It was absolutely beautiful - just like the parks in Chicago - with snow covered grasslands, trees and iced-over ponds. Very, very pretty. The park is so large though, so we didn't get around much of it before heading to a Broadway show at 3:00 pm, which was a last minute decision. Ryan and I separated so that I could go and buy the tickets in time, and he was going to meet me at the theater via the hotel ...

      ... locals and has that rustic feel with sawdust on the floor and a self service section.. By the way, self service means no utensils... I plumped for the self service bit...

      After Katz, I decided to have a wander along Houston to SOHO and it was relaxing, albeit cold still. I'm told tomorrow will be colder...brrrrrr..

      Headed back on the Subway on the F line back to E Broadway and back to hotel...

      Must have walked a few miles today as I can feel it in my legs...

      Then, time permitting again, I may pop to the Holiday Fair at Grand Central before Metro-North-ing it back to my super cosy bed, ready for my more relaxed Sunday adventure to Central Park, the Guggenheim, and exploring some more of NYC.

      Only 5 more days here on the East Coast. The time has flown by, but it feels like I have been here forever. A home away for home. You can't beat that.

      ... up, battled with cold and wind and went 'touring'. First stop- Toys'r'us Times Square. There T and A enjoyed the Ferris wheel inside the building, yes inside! And then we looked around for a long time and they all chose some toys to buy including a singing Olaf by Annalise which is supercute!       ... OUT OF SERVICE.'  The food was mediocre and often unedible. They also nickel and dimed you on charging for coffee at the International Cafe, and 2 scoops of ice cream for $3 when one is free.   I really enjoyed the port stops on this cruise, and that was worth the cost of this journey.    Early morning in ...
