... don’t do it justice explaining it but it really represents the massive scale of what happened and the amount of loss that people felt. It is a huge chasm in the middle of NYC and a scar on the city. It shouldn’t be beautiful or “selfie-able” it should just be sad. We continued walking and made our way through Tribeca, Little Italy, Chinatown, Noho, Nolita and Soho. NYC is so big that no matter where we went it was busy. I am sure people were also ...

... We finished our breakfast and walked over to the MET for our own tour. The Oasis tours are absolutely fantastic! We took the Integrity tour and and our guide Chris made history and the Bible come to life. He led us to different exhibits and with humor, inquiry, and discussion, he wove an interactive story of the first century Christians under the rule of Greece and Rome. He was such an excellent guide and our group of 23 was enjoying ...

... are so many people here all of the time. The City ignores you and just moves on ceaselessly.

Getting tired we took a cab to Ground Zero. On arrival we found ourselves incredibly moved, the sheer scale of it hits home and becomes real. Its no longer just images on the TV several thousand miles away. Afterwards we found a watering hole for a soda, a rest and some more shoe shopping. Then we took a long Subway ride back ...
