    Dus liep ik 30 december om zes uur op dit tempelcomplex uit de zevende

    ... and sealed with wax, it creates a very beautiful painting and we did end up buying one as they were just so cheap! We then headed into the center and the markets, it is a lot less touristy here which is reflected in the price of everything! We stopped for late lunch, visited a memorial and museum before heading back towards viavia, the best restaurant in yogyakarta, for some dinner.

    ... I promptly went to sleep on the ride to Borobudur.

    The largest Buddhist temple in the world didn't disappoint. It is an enormous stupa from the 8th and 9th centuries. Each level has intricately carved images along the walls and all around are Buddhas in various states of disrepair.
